Forex Capital Markets - FXCM
Compared with the other Forex brokers, FXCM is a heavy marketer. They provide some of the most advanced trading tools for their clients at no additional cost as well as text message updates, very good market updates and one of the best known trading platforms around, Webtrader and has what they call a no dealing desk execution system.
Forex Capital Markets, LLC (FXCM) was founded in 1999. They offer leverage up to 200 : 1. Minimum spreads offered is as low as 1 pip spreads, however they also state that their frequent spreads for Eur/Usd is 2 pips and for Gbp/Usd is 3 pips.
FXCM offer both standard and mini account. The minimum deposit for Standard account is US$ 2,000 and for Mini account is US$ 300. I don’t know what the leverage for the mini account is. Obviously, trading US$ 300 with 200:1 leverage is really too tight and irrational. I do know that they also have micro accounts for people who want to start trading with $25 – they use a separate brand name for this, however you can access it off of their main site.
FXCM’s No Dealing Desk execution gives users access to streaming prices provided to FXCM from multiple banks, with spreads as low as 1 pip. The No Dealing Desk agency execution offers trading directly with the bank’s prices, and will never have a dealer interrupting your trades. Trade during market news with no requotes and earn positive rolls regardless of margin level. FXCM is regulated by the NFA and CFTC in the US, FSA in the UK and SFC in Hong Kong. FXCM offers virtually unparalleled customer support in more than a dozen different languages, most languages are available 24 hours a day.
FXCM is Headquartered in New York City and their platform has a multi-language feature. They also have satellite offices in many countries.

Has malicious code which works against clients. No firewall against HFT. Erratic stop-spikes, stop-hunting, and margin-call-hunting by itw own software. Buyer beware. Will occasionaly reverse a bad trade, but generally not. Content to afford losing customers for maliscious execution in lieu of large number of overall accounts had through aggressive marketing.
